Custom Wallpaper on Surface Hub 2S via Intune
Has anybody been able to get this working?
We have a configuration profile as follows:
OMA-URI: ./Vendor/MSFT/SurfaceHub/InBoxApps/Welcome/CurrentBackgroundPath
Data Type: String
Value: https://________.PNG
It just errors out when applying with a generic -201628112 (Remediation failed)
We are connected using Azure AD and manage other configs via Intune without issue.
Any ideas welcome!!! Thanks!

Hello SurfaceHub2S,
You also need to make sure the picture is a 32-Bit color depth as mentioned here.
Thank you,
Cezar

cezarcretu I am also facing a similar issue to determine if it is a background image problem I would like to copy an existing background image file from the Hub and use it instead to test?
Is this possible and if so the location to access this file?
SurfaceHub2S Did you finally resolve the issue if so do you mind sharing the outcome- cezarcretu

Hello brajan,
There's no option to save a background picture from the device. However, if this was pushed through Endpoint Manager (Intune), you should be able to get the URL from the policy where the image is stored. Surface Hub will grab the picture from that location
All the best,
Cezar
